Percorso Efficienza & Innovazione
At MCE 2014 “Percorso Efficienza & Innovazione” is back, an initiative aimed to show off a selection of the most innovative and high efficient products and solutions on display in the four macro thematic areas: Heating, Cooling, Water and Energy. A novelty for the 39th MCE will be: Home and Building Automation and Sustainable Water Management, two fundamental features aimed at intelligent energy management in buildings. A virtual path shown on the website: www.mcexpocomfort.it, that is real during MCE offering an exhaustive overview of the most innovative products available today on the market, and displayed at the Exhibition.

Oltre La Classe A
A unique event space, with a new name, located in Hall 6, to discover ground-breaking technologies and systems admitted to “Percorso Efficienza & Innovazione”. An overall showcase to highlight the highest excellence within MCE and develop the construction simulation of highly efficient buildings, under the watchful eye of skilled experts of the Milan Polytechnic.

That’s Smart
The new MCE event in Hall 4, dedicated to power plant technologies, Home & Building Automation solutions, monitoring and management of renewable energy sources, all essential elements to improve dwelling and environmental quality satisfaction . THAT’S SMART will offer a rich programme of workshops focused on the current hot topics creating opportunities for technical and educational exchange and discussion.

100 Years of Anima
MCE will be the perfect stage to celebrate the centenary of Anima (Federation of Italian Associations of Mechanical, Engineering and related Industries). It’s a celebration of the continuing success of some sectors of excellence in Italian industry. The opening ceremony of the 39th MCE taking place on Wednesday, 18th March, will be attended by institutional and industry esteemed representatives, Italian and international stakeholders, and journalists. To follow, a social event will be held the same evening. An array of activities will continue over the four days with a busy calendar of workshops in the Lounge Anima, situated close from the entrance of Halls 14-18.

CasAngaisa
The new CasAngaisa (Italian Dealer Association for Plumbing and Sanitary Equipment, HVAC, Flooring, Tiles and Bathroom Fixtures and Fittings) will be the reference point for the distribution arms of the reference market. CasAngaisa a special new event held in Hall 2, will attract the logistics and warehousing industry as well as educational and cultural initiatives.

Wind Machines
MCE in collaboration with Vortice presents: “Macchine del Vento from Edison to Vortice”. A selection of the most efficient 30 products belonging to Vortice collection, gathering about 700 objects, from the first electric appliance invented by the man, the electric fan patented by Thomas Alva Edison in 1896, through Atomium in 1955, the first table fan produced by Attilio Pagani, founder of Vortice, up to the ones of the next generation. A path among the most important objects that have contributed to our quality of life.

Workshops
Amongst the novelties, MCE 2014 put some meeting rooms in halls 1-3, 2, 5-7, and 24 at exhibitors’ disposal, free of charge, enabling them to conduct their presentation workshops focused on products or initiatives. A short time to exchange ideas and get professional training.

MCE Against Counterfeiting
MCE has been the first trade show in Italy, to promote in partnership with Anima, the setting up of the: Anima – MCE – Mostra Convegno Expocomfort Industrial and Intellectual Property Committee. A unique and innovative tool enabling rapid intervention during the exhibition to remove the counterfeit item from the stand with due regard to requests from exhibitors, avoiding the need for recourse to the long-winded bureaucratic course of Italian course.

The first point of reference for MCE – Mostra Convegno Expocomfort is in the net with facebook fan page and the twitter profile but above all, on the website: www.mcexpocomfort.it , the “online benchmark” constantly updated providing all the information about the exhibition, market scenario and exhibiting companies. The crown jewels of www.mcexpocomfort.it are online services both for exhibitors who can easily download all documents for organizing their participation, and visitors who can find details to plan their visit to the exhibition. The special section “Exhibitors News” is a virtual showcase providing a full panorama of news about best-in-class products, initiatives promoted by exhibiting companies at MCE, and relevant case histories. Moreover, on www.mcexpocomfort.it, it will be possible to consult before and even after the exhibition “Percorso Efficienza & Innovazione”, the online database showing the most innovative products and solutions selected for the initiative. Visitors free download of the new mobile “App” for all platforms, from Apple to Android, will also be available to find all useful information.
