The Grundfos Prize for Female Professor
The
Grundfos Prize 2008 was given today to Professor, Anne Strunge Meyer, Dept. of
Chemical and Biochemical Engineering at the Technical University of Danmark
(DTU). The prize is a recognition of Ms Strunge Meyer’s research in the
development of new products and processes by means of nature’s own enzymes and
the use of plant material otherwise unused.

Michael S. Cropper Named 2007 Member of the Year by The Hydraulic Institute
The Hydraulic Institute, North America’s largest pump association and global
authority on pumps and pumping systems, named Michael S. Cropper as 2007 Member
of the Year during its Annual Meeting held at Marco Island, Florida.

Davey Wins Premiers Award For Sustainability in Large Company Category

water and energy use, has won Davey Water Products the Large Business Award in

Parker Awarded Ohio Grant to Advance Wind Energy Technology

Hannifin announced that it was awarded a $1 million grant from the Ohio Third
Frontier Advanced Energy Program for the commercialization of a hydraulic system
developed by Parker for use in wind turbines.
